Our client is a leading manufacturer in the plastics industry, producing high-quality products for various sectors. They are now looking for Machine Operators to join their friendly, long-serving team and help contribute to the company's continued success.

Machine (Extruder) Operators will need to be physically fit, as the role will involve physical tasks. However, no experience is required as full training will be given on the job and you will be up skilled in various areas to further your career progression along the way. Shift pattern will be a 3-shift rotation system (6-2/2-10/10-6), allowing for plenty of work life balance.

About the role

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and produce quality materials. Duties will include:
Prepare production machinery, ensuring proper alignment, calibration, and adjustment.
Collaborate with other workers to conduct tests of machine performance and identify any issues.
Monitor production processes to ensure equipment operates efficiently, and promptly troubleshoot any malfunctions or breakdowns.
Perform regular maintenance tasks on machinery to prevent operational issues.
Maintain accurate records of machine setting, adjustment, and maintenance activities.
Package finish goods
