Workshop Manager

Full Time Permanent

An opportunity has arisen with our North Wales based clients to lead a team in the design and production of precision bespoke vacuum systems and components. The team comprises of skilled engineers and designers, working primarily in stainless steel.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

* Member of the company management team, representing the workshop and contributing to the overall management of the business.

* Production of budgets, targets required to run the workshop and the monitoring performance in line with agreed company objectives.

* Liaising between sales, design, production and procurement to give delivery dates, costs and ensure they are met.

* Scheduling Production to meet time, design and cost targets.

* Optimisation of resources/production

* Production of bill of materials. Ensuring components/materials are in place to meet production requirement.

* Preferable experience vacuum industry

* Motivation, training, recruitment of workshop team

* Maintenance, repair and purchase of machinery

* Health and safety

In return:

Starting salary, depending on experience between £45k and £50k. From time to time incentives are also put in place.

Annual leave of 25 days in addition to statuary holidays

Medical insurance

2x salary death in service insurance.

39 hours week, although as a senior member of the management team there is an expectation to ‘get the job done
