Ward Nurses

Full Time Permanent

Our Client is transforming their community hospitals and are looking for nurses to join their teams to help reshape their future

There are vacancies in Community hospitals which are located within the Central Area of North Wales.

They are implementing Discharge to Recover then Assess (D2RA) pathways and the majority of their patients are therefore on an active rehabilitation and recovery pathway following an acute hospital stay. Everything they do is geared to helping patients to recover and enable them to regain as much independence as possible – a really rewarding type of nursing.

We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who are dedicated to giving personalised care and working with their patients – many of their patients have lived long and full lives and provide opportunities for rich social interaction – everything they do makes a difference. The teams in the community hospitals are truly multi-disciplinary in nature, and there is especially close collaborative working with therapy staff, and a wealth of experience to be gained around discharge assessment and planning most of which occurs outside an acute hospital setting as a result of their D2RA model.

If you are passionate about developing care closer to home, and developing new ways of working to directly benefit patients, you should come and work with our Client. They work on the principle of a bottom up approach to change and welcome everyone contributing their ideas for improvements they can then achieve together.

They can offer you a very supportive working environment, with an excellent preceptorship programme and a robust induction period. They are passionate and committed to supporting their teams with continuous professional development and provide specialist training opportunities in areas such as tissue viability, Lymphoedema, diabetes, mentorship, independent prescribing, advanced clinical practice, minor illness and minor injuries management, and palliative and end of life care just to mention a few, which are available in-house as well as external courses and conferences. They have an excellent record of high quality mentorship within their teams, and many of their staff remain and attain promotion through development, and in turn want to develop others as well as themselves.

Our Client offer full flexibility of work patterns – shifts include Early, Late, Long Days, Nights and weekends, and can be either 6 or 12hrs in duration. They recognise the importance of work life balance, especially as North Wales is a beautiful place to live and work.

Working in these community hospitals also offers a diverse range of different clinical experience for those that wish to broaden their skills and experience including additional opportunities in Minor Injuries Units, IV Therapy Suites or Assessment Units.

If you are looking for a nursing role with variety, continuous support and genuine job satisfaction, please get in touch.
