In the Training Coordinator role, you will be:
Coordinating, developing, delivering and evaluating a range of creative and innovative learning and development opportunities, both face to face and remotely, across a whole range of learners aged 16 plus years, ensuring the achievement of learning and qualifications according to the various project business plans
Developing effective interagency, multidisciplinary and whole sector relationships and initiatives in order to help meet these objectives
Supporting the service by participating in other programmes and training as required and to promote and represent the work of the Service internally and with all external partner agencies and be responsible for a training budget
Equitably, efficiently and effectively delivering in accordance with the objectives and targets identified within the service business plan and project delivery profiles
To be considered for the Training Coordinator job, you must have:
A relevant qualification, or willingness to work towards relevant qualifications, e.g. Practice Assessor/ Teacher Award
Experience of teaching/ development and training/coaching
Knowledge and experience of working within education, community development, community education, social sciences.
Ability to use a range of Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel
Experience of delivering blended training using different formats to suit needs of learners
Understanding of performance management and monitoring processes and also confidentiality and data protection issues
The ability to adapt learning flexibly to meet the needs of learners and their learning styles/preferences
Empathy for learners with complex and multiple barriers to learning
An ability to engage and facilitate groups, face to face and online, and assess individuals with a genuine desire to help people; demonstrate empathy and be non-judgemental.
This is a full time, Monday to Friday job which due to the current situation, you will be home working. This is a temporary role for initially 8 to 12 weeks and is on an hourly rate of £10.60 per hour plus any accrued holiday time whilst on the assignment.
