Job role: Trainee Accounts Assistant
Location: Wrexham
Hours: Full time
Salary: £20,000 – £26,000
Job type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity with our bespoke client has arisen to work in a busy and dynamic finance department.

Your main duties will include:

" Payroll & HR
" Maintaining and monitoring the Time-tracking software; updating, hours, holidays sickness etc.
" Processing fortnightly payroll.
" Processing weekly payroll for subsidiary company.
" Maintaining and keeping employee records
" Monthly Payroll reconciliation to finance and HMRC
" Payroll year end & P11D processing
" Payroll reporting.
" Assisting with HR procedures
" finance Function
" Credit control
" Daily bank reconciliation.
" Processing bank Payments.
" Currency reconciliation
" Cash flow forecasting.
" Assisting with month end reconciliations and checks.
" Assisting with Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger.
" Ad Hoc duties and reporting
" Answering phones

Experience and Skills required:

– Experienced in working within a busy and varied finance position
– Excellent communication skills – you will be working with different departments in various companies and countries.
– High level of attention to detail.
– Strong excel skills
– Working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll & previous payroll experience
– Sage 200 experience is ideal but not mandatory.
– AT qualified or similar would be advantageous.
