Technical Author Full Time Temporary

If you are savvy with editorial content, have an eye for detail and technical writing skills then we have a job for you! As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for producing instruction and installation manuals and installation videos for a local manufacturer. 

Your key duties as a Technical Author will include:

Assist in the production of instruction videos
Producing written technical documents i.e. instruction manuals
Working with the engineering team on site to produce the videos and documentation in a timely manner
To be considered for this Technical Author position, you will have:

Previous experience as a technical author or design draftsman
Ability to use a mobile video camera
Proficient in Microsoft office and Adobe Suite including Adobe illustrator
In exchange you will receive a Salary of between £22,000 to £25,000 per annum. This is a full-time temporary role working approximately 40 hours Monday to Friday and may become permanent for the right candidate.
