Supply Chain Coordinator

Wrexham (Hybrid Working)

£24,000 – £25,000 (flexible depending on experience)

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join a business who specialise within the distribution of food goods to restaurants chains throughout Europe.

They are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support multiple departments, reporting directly to the European Supply Chain Manager in the management and coordination of global end to end supply chain.

*Work from home 3 days per week minimum


* Hybrid Working, work from home 3 days per week

The Candidate;

* Degree or qualification within Supply Chain Management (or similar)
* Advanced Microsoft Excell Skills
* Proven experience of working in a supply chain position
* A strong understanding of supply chain management
* Food supply chain or similar industry experience is desirable
* Experience of working within a fast paced, busy logistics office
* A high attention to detail is essential
* The ability to prioritise workloads
* Flexible approach
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Competent decision making

Duties and Responsibilities;

* Manage new product roll outs from pricing approval to arrival for market.
* Place initial orders with suppliers, confirming volume, ready dates, forecasts, any specific product details.
* Liaise with suppliers to manage product roll out, aligning with expected/planned roll out date.
* Project manage the launch, keeping a record of plan and updating internally
* Communicate to all relevant department’s information on any new items or promos
* Creating and maintaining Product Records to ensure they are correct, complete and in line with product specifications
* Being aware of product delays (production, transport) analyse and understand impact in supply Chain
* Liaising with Suppliers and Transport department around delays
* Coordinate with Demand Planning team for Intersite transfers
* Review/audit product pricing – analyse whether we are meeting expected pallet/volume or haulier rates. Check for any unexpected costs
* Review supplier price changes and ensure system is updated for purchase orders
* Analyse rates in place to check for cost savings and efficiencies
