Supervising Social Worker – IFA

A well established Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to provide support to foster carers in North Wales.

The position offers flexible home working along with a manageable case load of around 10 fostering households.

As a Supervising Social Worker you be responsibilities will include:

Providing emotional and practical support to the agency's Foster Carers, ensuring that the child needs are being met
Undertaking monthly and announced visits to foster carer households
Competing Annual Reviews for existing carers and Form F Assessments for new ones coming into the agency
Participating in the Agency's Outs of Hours RotaThe position offers a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience

Childcare VouchersTo be considered for this position you will be a Qualified Social Worker with at least one year experience in working within a Fostering Agency or Fostering Team. You must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Fostering Minimum Standards, Fostering Legislation and Safeguarding. You must also hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to your own vehicle.
