Acorn currently has an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a talented team of hardworking Chefs working in Flint Mountain Park Hotel.

Not only will you be creating meals for the traditional Pub Restaurant Menu, you will also cater for all different occasions such as weddings, parties, functions and create a 3-course lunch menu on a Sunday.

* Location: Flint
* Experience: minimum of 2 years experience in Sous chef/ Chef de Partie role
* Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience)
* Working Hours: 40 hours across 4 days a week

Duties
* Working along side of the Head Chef in supporting the kitchen staff
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness. You will be expected to assist in ensuring H&S and food legislation is being followed correctly
* Manage stock control, assist with orders and unloading deliveries

Requirements
* Experience in fresh, seasonal British cooking
* A strong understanding of H&S and food legislation
* Previous experience in Sous Chef / CDP role
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in catering.
* A energetic, positive can do attitude
