Social worker LAC Contract Full Time

The successful candidate will be part of an experienced, proactive and supportive team and will assist in its approach to providing a social work service to children and young people who are looked after by the authority

Duties within the Looked After and Leaving care team will include

Working with looked after children moving into independence
Completing pathway assessments and plans and supporting young people with practical skills, access to training and education.
You will be working closely with over agencies which include Education, Housing, Youth services and health
To be the right person for this role, you will have excellent communication skills, proven experience of working as part of a team, previous experience of working with children and young people as well as a drive and passion for supporting families and improving outcomes for children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is paramount
