The Company
Owing to an increase in workload, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager for a £40-£45M steel frame and cladding package. They already have a strong team in place on site and looking for a Senior Site Manager to join the team.
The Role
As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for safe and timely delivery of the steel package, leading by example and managing your team to successfully deliver. You will report directly to project director who is based on site.
Our client is not after a manager who is going to be in the cabin sat at your desk. You will be very much in the thick of it, on site driving the sub-contractors to safely deliver.
* You will be responsible for the management of four sub-contractors, leading them by example.
* Oversee resource allocation, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Sub-contract programming/planning.
* Manage to budget and complete within agreed deadlines.
* Manage, motivate, and appraise team members.
* Maintaining Health and Safety.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, fabricators, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
* You will be working long hours 07.00-17.00 as a minimum and maybe weekends hence the salary.
About You
To be considered for this position you must demonstrate that you have successfully worked on and delivered similar steel frame projects with a minimum value of £40M. You will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment working to tight deadlines.
PLEASE NOTE – Our client is looking for a candidate who has proven track record of delivering steel frame projects from start to finish for steel frame contractors or a main contractor.
* SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety / CSCS Card / First Aid At Work
* Experience in Steel Frame projects from start to completion
* IT Literate – You must have excellent IT skills
