We are recruiting exclusively for a Relationship Manager for our client, a family run and leading provider of business telephone systems where the customer is at the heart of everything they do. Based in the North-West of England, they have a UK wide customer base, but typically their clients are based in an area that covers Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and North Wales. As Relationship Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining long standing relationships with new and existing clients, managing those client accounts and relationships long term. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Relationship Manager, Business Development Manager or Account Manager with experience within telecommunications who is looking for their next move into a consultative account management and business development role whereby you will have the autonomy to use your natural entrepreneurial flair to maximise opportunities and build long term client relationships. This role requires an ambitious self-starter with a consultative approach to take responsibility of the sales function of the business. The role will be based around building and nurturing relationships with both existing and potential clients, identifying opportunities and managing pipeline business. It will be your role to identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts, owning and continually developing your accounts to their full potential.
You will be providing solutions according to the situation using telecommunications knowledge including Sip communication VoIP using On Premise solutions, Cloud Telephony, Mobile, Ethernet Circuits, FTTP and other data solutions, Structured Cabling and WiFi access.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and working with the Managing Director, this role is responsible for developing new customers and expanding services taken by clients.
Responsible for securing new clients typically in the small medium business sector (<250 employees).
Selling secure complete solution sales which will include Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Network Connectivity and ongoing Maintenance / support contracts.
Develop and maintain all prospect opportunities and existing client activity on the CRM system-update daily.
Generate and nurture a pipeline of future business opportunities.
Build relationships with existing customers reviewing their services maximising opportunities to grow those accounts.
Liaise with customers over the phone and face to face in order to secure and retain business.
Attend networking events to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives
Work with Directors to develop mutual understanding of each area and develop methods of cooperation and support to achieve our stated corporate vision.
Attend events as and when required. This can involve work out of normal hours.
Maintain a flexible approach and provide suitable support as and when required for other remits.
Assist other team members with business process when necessary.
Good understanding of the telephony market, emerging technology and UCaaS solutions.
High degree of planning and organisational skills to ensure personal and Company revenue objectives.
