Registered Manager
Role: Permanent
Salary: £36,000.00-£40,000.00
Location: Wrexham
Renowned care home with an excellent name and exceptional knowledge within the support and dementia care area.
The position of Registered Manager will ensure the smooth day to day running of the home, delivering high standard and quality of care to all residents and their relations. Key task is to run a safe, welcoming, and caring place to live, meeting and exceeding the expectations of all residents.
Responsibilities:
·Delivering the best possible care in line with the service users’ care plan.
·Leadership and management of the home and liaising with management team
·Maintain and improve hygiene standards
·Support with the rehabilitation
·Continuous assessments and attend reviews
·Upholding occupancy levels
·Monitoring so all aspects of care are carried out appropriately
·Working with a deputy/senior carer monitoring drug administration and drug sheets
·Daily update of accurate computerised records
·Leading staff to adhere to best practice procedures and are trained accordingly
·Staff induction, supervision, ongoing training, and support
·To compile and keep up to date, all staff files, including all relevant POVA and DBS checks.
·To produce and execute staff rota’s.
·To ensure the financial budgeting for the home is kept to agreed figures and the financial viability of the home is secure and maintained.
·NVQ Level 5 would be a distinct advantage
·Open approachable management style, enabling staff to have access and support nurturing a happy workforce and an exceptional standard of care
