Quality Engineer

My client who work within the manufacturing industry for steel are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.

Key Details: Quality Engineer

* Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm.

* Permanent contract.

* Salary ranging from £35,000 – £42,000.

Duties: Quality Engineer

* To take an active role in managing the QA and SHE functions in the Deeside factory and office, maintaining approvals to ISO9001, ISO14001 and EN1090 via external audits.

* Ensure all teams, production processes and products to adhere to the appropriate QA standards and SHE systems via active liaison and face to face interaction.

* Maintain calibration of all essential checking and measuring equipment on site, ensuring it is fit for purpose and traceable to international calibration standards.

* Maintain high quality records of all required elements of our EHSQ systems.

* Lead by example and demonstrate safety to support and encourage accountability, engagement and participation with any safety related activities adhering to all health & safety systems and protocols.

Experience: Quality Engineer

* NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.

* Experience working in the manufacturing sector, in particular with stainless steel would be a massive advantage.

* Experience and working knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO(phone number removed):2015 and ISO45001.

* Internal Auditing qualification would be an advantage.
