The Role – Energy Project Support Officer
You will undertake a busy and varied role supporting the Operations Manager to deliver projects on behalf of our clients. You’ll work closely with these clients on the day-to-day delivery of projects, supporting their decarbonisation strategy. Your duties will include:
* Monitoring and reviewing project progress, and producing performance management and business analysis reports
* Supporting grant funding applications and tendering
* Evaluating projects and reporting on outcomes
* Providing support to all project partners and relevant organisations to ensure projects run smoothly
* Coordinating and participating in regular meetings with project partners and delivery organisations
* Ensuring all relevant financial and monitoring information for each project is accurate and that documentation is stored correctly
* Travelling to customer sites / offices within the proximity of the offices in Holywell to support with projects
The Package
* Salary of £25,000
* Permanent contract, working full time hours with core working hours of 10am to 3pm, with the option to work flexibly outside of these hours
* Hybrid working options available, with option to work from home up to 2 days per week combined with working from the offices in Holywell (North Wales) and occasionally from client sites / offices
* Business travel expenses paid

Our Requirements – Energy Project Support Officer
* Experience gained in a similar project admin / support / project management officer (PMO) role
* Experience gained in a related industry to that of our clients (e.g., social housing, third sector, council authority, governmental body)
* Experience gained working with partner agencies, private businesses, and local communities
* A proven ability to verify, analyse and simplify complex written information, with a high level of attention to detail
* Excellent computer skills, with working knowledge of Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Superb communication and organisation skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to work within a team structure
* Flexible approach to work, with ability to work out of core office hours if required
* Access to a car for business use
Although not essential, previous experience gained working on and monitoring energy programmes (i.e. ECO (incl. flex), Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, Energy Redress Scheme, Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Scheme, Home Upgrade Grant, Optimised Retrofit Fund, Fuel Poverty Network Extension Scheme, Arbed, Welsh Housing Quality Standard and Decent Homes Standard) would be advantageous, as would experience of monitoring / administering budgets, and the ability to communicate in Welsh.
