Process Development Manager

Full Time Permanent

FINTEC recruit is pleased to present this opportunity of Process Development Manager for our manufacturing client based in Flintshire. This is a permanent, full time role with salary negotiable depending on experience. You will lead product and process development projects on behalf of the company's customers, to deliver novel semiconductor packaging solutions.

Responsibilities of the Process Development Manager:

Communicating with customers on scope and feasibility of new projects.
Undertaking costing and planning of projects.
Taking the lead on projects to deliver meeting agreed cost and timescales.
Conceiving and developing novel solutions, together with the Creative Technical Director.
Planning and leading scale up activities to take successful developments into volume production.Essential skills and experience required for the Process Development Manager role:

3+ years of experience of advanced semiconductor packaging, or PCB assembly gained in either an industrial or research environment.
Degree in a relevant engineering or materials science discipline.
Demonstrable experience of leading process development projects using structured DoE techniques.
Formal project management skills and evidence of reliable deliver.
Good written and oral communication skills.Desirable but not essential:

Experience with photolithography, laser direct imagine, electroplating, routing, and press bonding.
Higher degree in the field of wide bandgap semiconductor packaging or application.
Experience with thermal or electrical modelling.
