Primary Teaching Assistant

Full Time Temporary

As Educate look back at what has been a fantastic academic year, we want to thank all our staff and local schools for their hard work, resilience and dedication in supporting pupils in these trying times. Looking forward to September, we aim to continue to do what we do best: support local schools with our experienced and fully trained staff who are treated fairly and ethically and given opportunities to progress and learn on the job. We are currently working closely with local primary schools in the Rhyl and Denbighshire area, who are looking  for enthusiastic and hard-working Teaching Assistants to join their team.

The role will be varied and rewarding, the schools place emphasis on developing strong positive working relationships, helping pupils to flourish, improving their self-esteem and gaining confidence both inside and outside the classroom. The key responsibilities will be aiding the class teacher, supporting pupils with day to day work, helping set out activities, and ensuring all pupils are supported emotionally and feel they are in a positive and safe environment.

No teaching assistant experience is required, if you have experience of sports coaching, tutoring, working in Scouts or Brownies, this could be your perfect role! Proficient levels of literacy and numeracy are essential, as well as confidence working with children from varying backgrounds and abilities.

The school will provide you with full support, whether you're an experienced Level 3 teaching assistant looking for a new challenge or somebody with strong child based experience looking for a change in career.
