Plant Supervisor Contract Full Time

Carmichael are seeking an experienced plant supervisor to join a highways project based in North Wales.

• Assist the manager with meeting daily production targets
• Follow SHE policies and procedures
• Ensure Asphalt plant / Quarry always conforms with safety requirements
• Acting on defects and implement remedial action.
• Assist in the maintenance regime of the Plant
• Ensure that plant availability is maximised
• Update daily figures online
• Carry out contractor inductions
• Cover breaks, holidays and sickness
• Managing, training and supporting all departmental supervisors

You will need

• Asphalt plant knowledge
• Previous Supervisor experience
• Have experience of undertaking risk assessments and developing safe working procedures
• NVQ, IOSH, loading shovel, mini digger
