Our client based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Advisor to join their busy team.
The role will be for an initial 6 months, with a view to a permanent position.
It is full time, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience, up to £35,000 per annum.
The position will require elements of advisory, data processing, technological interpretation, payroll processing, strong customer service, small scale project management and coordination skills to support its customer base across all countries.
Main job duties will include:
Provide advice and guidance on payroll legislation ensuring the business is compliant within the payroll activities.
Provide a confident customer query resolution service in relation to pay related matters.
Provide guidance to HR on Payroll related matters as the subject matter expert and to the HR advisors / wider HR Community.
Perform root cause analysis on payroll related matters and manage through to resolution.
Provide transactional support, inclusive of preparing all required documentation and system updates and ensure Standard Operating Procedures are always followed, and quality controls are adhered to.
Accountable for the management of the processing and balancing of all monthly payrolls, ensuring data accuracy and in accordance with country legislation.Skills and Experience required:
Experience of working on multiple country payrolls outside the UK.
Previous shared service experience
Experience in a customer service role
Query resolution and management of customer complaints
A good level of GDPR and practice
Working in a fast-paced environment
Strong ability to analyse data to understand trends in order to plan and forecast resource requirements.
