Office Manager / PA to Director

Cyd Innovation is a specialist consultancy company growing rapidly in the face of massive demand for more energy efficient and affordable ways to heat homes across Wales. We are helping to accelerate progress towards the national target to achieve Net Zero Carbon by 2050, with Net Zero Social Housing expected by 2035. The Role – Office Manager / PA to Director
As Office Manager, you will undertake a busy and varied role as you support the Holywell office and manage the increasingly busy schedule of the Managing Director. You will manage and be supported by an Admin Assistant. Your duties will include:
* Planning and implementing office systems, layouts and purchasing equipment and supplies
* Organising and supervising all admin activities to ensure the office runs smoothly
* Assisting the MD with preparing information, reports, memos, and presentations for meetings and taking minutes
* Conducting research as required for various reports, projects, and business plans
* Managing and maintaining filing systems and records
* Recording office expenditure and managing designated budgets, reviewing time and expense sheets
* Assisting with the preparation of invoices, liaising with colleagues in Finance and Payroll
* Organising team meetings, assisting the MD in managing staff schedules
* Promoting development and training, managing our training plan
As you develop within the role, your responsibilities may extend to overseeing the implementation of processes, standards and procedures throughout the business.
Our Requirements – Office Manager / PA to Director
* Proven experience in a similar office support / admin role, supporting senior management
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with superb grammar and attention to detail
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and extensive understanding of PowerPoint and Excel
* Superb organisation skills, with the ability to use own initiative
* Able to deal with sensitive and complex situations whilst maintaining confidentiality
* Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated approach to work with desire to progress
Although not essential, previous experience gained supporting Board-level, managing ISO 9001 and / or 14001, and a relevant Business Admin qualification would be advantageous, as would having a full driving licence.
The Package
* Salary up to £32,000, level depending on experience
* Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm from the offices in Holywell (North Wales)
