MIS Officer Full Time Temporary

Bring your technical skills and abilities to the HR department of a large public sector organisation, where you will be working with a supportive team, behind the scenes to help develop, implement and manage their new MIS software.

In the MIS Officer job, you will be:

Designing, implementing and maintaining their MIS system developments including interfaces with other internal systems
Providing ICT based solutions to the department relating to HR and Payroll operations
Liaising with internal and external teams to define opportunities to improve and achieve full potential of the system
Working closely with the teams to interpret their processes and requirements and also get an understanding of human resources related policies in order to develop the project ensuring these are reflected in the HR MIS System
Producing strategies, procedures and plans to ensure organisational commitment to the system

To be considered for the MIS Officer job must have:

Strong technical skills and previous MIS experience with the ability to translate business processes for configuration in IT solutions and develop strategies
Involvement with reporting software to produce and analyse reports and present findings

Experience working within a HR department (Advantage)

Ability to organise and prioritise work and work on own initiative, whilst also being a good team worker

This is an on-going, temporary role with a possible view to become something more for the right person and depending on the development of the project / job. Working hours are full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and has a competitive salary depending on skills and experience. 
Due to the current circumstances, this role will be home based however the ability to collect equipment from their offices in North Wales is essential.
