Responsible for
Maintain and reduce production down time by ensuring machinery is in good working order and down time is kept to a minimum. You will be required to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. In you will need knowledge of PLC configuration and fault finding and full knowledge of invertors and robotic installations.

Shifts
37hrs per week with early finish on Fridays.
3 shift rotation, Monday to Friday (Monday to Thursday only on night shift)
Week 1 Mornings 6am – 2pm,
Week 2 Twilights 1.30pm – 9.30pm,
Week 3 Nights (4 nights) 8.30pm – 6.15am.
Breaks
30 min lunch (unpaid), early and late 10-minute break (x2 both paid)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role
Our client is looking for Maintenance Engineers to join their busy team in Broughton on permanent contract. As a Maintenance Engineers your responsibilities are as follows –
* Complete preventive maintenance as required on robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators, and machinery wiring.
* Able to follow electrical code of practice, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications
* Install new machinery
* Carry out inspection and testing
* Repair electrical systems and equipment by diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures
* Minimise downtime by informing production workers of routine/ preventive maintenance techniques
* Ensure Stock is replenished after use and ensure reordered
* Ensure equipment and supplies are ordered timely for projects and fully planned
* Maintain continuity by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and modification
* Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Key Skills Required
* Knowledge of PLC configuration
* Knowledge of Invertors and 3 Phase supply
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation
* HND or HNC or 18th Edition within Electrical Engineering / Maintenance.
* Time served electrician.
