Our client, a powerhouse in the manufacturing industry and a proud member of a multinational group is on the hunt for a dynamic Maintenance Engineer to work Monday – Friday days, 8am – 5pm. The salary on offer is £40,000 – £42,000 and benefits include 25 days of annual leave, discounts on high street brands, sick pay, a robust company pension plan, and much more.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
* Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
* Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
* Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
* Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
* Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
* Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
* Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
* Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.
Required Experience:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical skills.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
