We are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join an innovative and fast growing business using the latest CNC technology to manufacture sheet metal into a carbon neutral product – the first of its kind in the UK based in Deeside on a permanent full time basis.

As Machine Operator you will be working Afters: Monday to Thursday 2pm-11pm and Friday 12pm-6pm

Hourly rate: £14 per hour plus excellent benefits as below

Reporting into the Press Shop Manager, you will be working as part of a team of 3-4 Machine Operators with the following responsibilities:

Operating press brakes and turret punch press machines
Working with sheet metal mainly in the manufacture of storage solutions
Reading and interpreting technical specifications to set the machines
Perform regular maintenance, inspect metal while shaping it, and make adjustments as needed
Ensure there are sufficient raw materials available
Measure and align materials to be used
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

Previous experience working as a Machine Operator, CNC Operator, Press Brake Operator or Similar
Good knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing
Prior knowledge of CNC turret punch press machines or Amada press brakes ideally
Ability to read technical specifications
Experience of working in fast paced environment working to targets
