Salary: £25,000- £28,000 per annum

A position has become available for a Logistics Associate within the Wrexham Logistics department, Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader.
You will be responsible for Outbound and Inbound logistics and warehouse functions known as Webs / Chemicals / Freight / Yard / Despatch and Third-party services.
The Associate will form part of a small busy team and assist in the management of the organisation's logistics systems. They coordinate the shipment and distribution of goods, inspect goods and materials, track shipments, manage inventory, and communicate with customers and third-party services.
You will responsible for making sure supplies, inventory, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
Logistics Associate Responsibilities:
Facilitate the movement / storage of products internally / externally
Arrange transportation, and orchestrate deliveries to meet 100% OTIF customer demand in a safe and timely manner
Receives products and coordinates delivery paperwork, transport coordination.
Prepares loads for shipment, agree despatch priorities with planning
Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
Streamlines shipping and transportation processes with associated transactions & paperwork.
Stock checks / audit’s and 5S responsibilities.
FLT service / repair arrangements
AS400 / Prism MRP conversant in bookings and scan gun Realtime transactions.
Complete skills matrix training to maintain compliance to area training requirements
Document compiling / filing / Scanning for Post Brexit administration for goods in / out.
Some standard work creation and process improvement revisions for area.
Safety audits and area inspections are a must.
Logistics Associate Requirements:
FLT licence and experience (Essential)
Computer literate
Good decision making and problem-solving skills
Organisational Procedural mindset
Good understanding of quality management principles
Attention to detail whilst multitasking
Talent for recognising the opportunities for process improvement in some areas
