Role Title : Lecturer in Sport

Location : Deeside

Contract Type : Permanent, Part Time (25.9 hours per week)

Salary: £27,382- £42,326 (Pro rata) (Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine)

Coleg Cambria is now recruiting for a Lecturer in Sport to deliver our level 2 to level 5 Sport course at Deeside.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have proven experience and competence of teaching Sport, a proven track record of teaching learners at Level 5 and below, and hold a PGCE and Level 6 qualification in a related subject as a minimum.

As a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities as well as ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.

Essential Requirements

Qualified to at least Level 6/Undergraduate Degree Level in a relevant specialist subject area
Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, C&G 7407)
Able to identify, interpret and apply specific knowledge to practice
Competent digital literacy skills.
Be able to develop and use a range of teaching and learning techniquesColeg Cambria is committed to raising the profile of the Welsh language.

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
