Salary Scale: £26,911 -£41,598 salary will be based on a salary assessment and relevant experience
Role Overview
Coleg Cambria are now looking for a Lecturer in Mental Health and Wellbeing to work at our state of the art Business School in Northop
We are looking for a Lecturer who can deliver learning and has industry experience in Mental Health and Wellbeing and the wider related topics including resilience, mental toughness and stress management. We are also looking for somebody who has experience of the management of Health and Wellbeing in the workplace.
Alongside specialist knowledge and experience we are looking for candidates that display energy and enthusiasm in the learning environment. As part of your role you will perform scheduled teaching, prepare learning materials, mark students' work and liaise with awarding bodies and exam invigilation as required. You will also be expected to complete and produce documentation such as registers, schemes of work, records of work, course review and course analysis documentation and student reports.
Requirements
Experience delivering education around Mental Health and Wellbeing and the wider related topics including resilience, mental toughness and stress management.
You will be qualified to at least Level 3 within Mental Health and Wellbeing or a professionally relevant specialist subject area
You must possess a teaching qualification such as Cert Ed, PGCE or City & Guilds 7407.
Excellent knowledge of the importance of quality standards within teaching
Experience of working with a broad range of learning needs and knowledge of how to support them within the learning environmentColeg Cambria is committed to raising the profile of the Welsh language – Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
