Lean Manufacturing Specialist – Manufacturing – Gwynedd – £43,000 to £50,000  

About the Company 
Our client an established, global manufacturing business are currently looking to recruit a Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Specialist for their manufacturing plant in North Wales.
As a Lean Management Expert, you will be responsible for translating the company lean systems and applying them with a “best practice” approach, ensuring these are integrated into daily activity and developing a culture of engagement.

Lean Manufacturing Specialist – Requirements  

Expertise in Lean Management, holding or working to Six Sigma Black Belt
A proven background in delivering quantifiable change within manufacturing organisations, improving systems and processes through the utilisation of lean tools and techniques
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to problem solve and multi-task  
Lean Manufacturing specialist – Responsibilities  

Effectively utilise tools such as LEAN, Six Sigma methodologies and Value Stream Mapping
Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities and achieve target savings through the use of lean tools
Support teams to coach and train tools and principles, which build and embed a Right First Time / Lean culture
Determine and introduce training / development initiatives as required to further the sites capabilities
Develop and maintain new and existing relationships to share and develop best practice standards
Design and support implementation projects where process improvement is in scope
Organise and conduct work streams and/or workshops for development, implementation and rollout of the company Performance System
Apply analytical techniques to drive business & operational process improvements, general quality improvement, cost reduction and enhance delivery services
Conduct training and coaching of Plant Management
Organise and develop Plant Test & Training Programme
Support Plant Succession Planning initiative
Support development and standardisation of new methods and tools in order to expand the Performance System
Identify opportunities to further develop and maintain the overall RPS² strategy and approach
Act as regular Liaison & Communication between Plant Management and plant employees to effectively ensure relative information on all Plant & company developments is understood.
