FJA are seeking a Leakage Field Technician to cover the North Wales area to locate and report both visible and hidden leaks from the trunk main and distribution network.

This is truly a great opportunity for an individual to develop their skills and experience.

It is essential that you hold a Full and valid UK Driving Licence as you are required to drive for the role

This is a full time (40 hrs pw), Monday to Friday.

Leakage Field Technician roles;

* You will be working outside, using both traditional and electronic leak detection equipment to locate water main fittings & taking noise samples using electronic leak detection equipment

* To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage

* Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services

* To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required

* Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop

* Moving heavy items including manhole covers

* Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also)

The successful Leakage Field Technician:

* You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)

* Have Leakage/Meter Installation/Reading experience

* A good standard of basic Maths and English

* Basic IT skills

* Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime as required

* Good communication skills

* Happy working alone and as part of a team

* Full UK driving licence
