Job Title: – Key Account Manager

Reporting to: – OE Sales Director

The jobholder will have responsibility of identifying, maintaining and developing opportunities for promotion of the organisation’s products within a defined EMEA area. They will manage existing accounts and provide advice on solutions based on the customer’s technical and commercial requests. They too will be expected to support business development in regards to exploring new avenues of opportunities; within the current core of products and also within new industry areas. Additional responsibilities will include the input into planning and co-ordination of projects. The Project Manager will determine the scope and size of projects, their resource requirements and the associated risks. The Account Manager will define cost and budget management and will provide frequent reports to the Sales Director on the development of accounts, growth and strategy.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

• The Jobholder will be responsible for identifying, maintaining and developing opportunities for promotion of the organisation’s products and services

• To manage accounts and to ensure budget and growth targets are met

• To review industry and market trends which can directly and in-directly impact future growth

• To promote existing and new products

• To determine the scope and size of projects, their resource requirements, the associated risks and cost and budget management from a commercial aspect.

• To support customer specific projects to their conclusion, adhering to agreed timescales and projected budgets.

• Responsibilities will include frequently visiting customers in a commercial and technical support role, as required.

• Responsibilities include visiting prospective customers to discuss requirements, advise accordingly, provide written quotes and provide after-service.

• The detailed duties and responsibilities may vary in accordance with the work/business demands and development of the business.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support Production, Quality and Customer Services with all technical and commercial questions relating to sellable products.

• Assist in customer quotations for all products manufactured for OE and AM customers.

• Provide specific support to Reflexallen HQ with marketing data, quotations and technical queries.

• Specific sales support tasks requested by the Senior Management team.

• Support other Reflexallen global sales and technical project teams

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Working knowledge of all core MS Office applications – Essential

Experience of PPAP – Desirable

APQP experience – Desirable

Working knowledge of MS Project – Desirable

Working knowledge of ISO9001 / IATF16949 – Desirable

Excellent communication / presentation skills – Essential

Customer management skills – Essential

Working knowledge of MS AX – Desirable

Working knowledge of ERP/MPR systems – Essential

Professional qualification in business or engineering based subject
