Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Deeside, Chester
Salary: £27,000 – £28,000
Benefits: Bonus £400 per quarter, Pension
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and well-known IT Services company based in Deeside, just outside of Chester. The company has joined forces with three other managed service providers based around the UK under the group of a large household name allowing them to invest and grow the business.
You will be working within an existing team of Engineers supporting a wide and varied customer base. Your skill-set will have proven commercial experience of working in an IT Support or IT Engineer role at 2nd line level.
You will support a range of technologies including:
Windows Server, Office 365, Microsoft Windows 7 – 10 Operating Systems, VMware and Veeam as well as hardware and network cabling.
You will provide user guidance, perform service requests, maintenance and monitoring tasks and respond to alerts. You will also have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills in face to face client environments. As well as having the ability to work as a 'Team Player' in and amongst an ever developing and growing team.
When things are back to normal post-Covid the role will be a 50/50 split between client site and the office.
Key Experience Required
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer or Field Engineer with following skills:
Previous experience in a 2nd/3rd Line role
Windows 7 – 10 Operating systems
Office 365As you will be attending client sites as part of the role (when restrictions allow) you will need to have a full driving license.
