Location: St Asaph, Denbighshire, North Wales (on site) 

Hours of work: Full Time  37.5 hpw

Salary: £23,000 – £24,500

About the Role

The HR & Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the organisation's end to end recruitment processes, by supporting the management and overall delivery of effective recruitment and selection services, including writing and advertising jobs, co-ordinating selection activities, and maintaining a high-quality onboarding and administrative function that drives the overall candidate experience. 

This varied role will also provide support to the HR team on strategic project delivery as well as standard transactional work. You will deliver basic employee help and guidance on policies and processes. The role will include administrative duties, including updating databases, creating correspondence, collating data, and preparing reports, as well as minute-taking and supporting HR events. 

The HR Coordinator will be a team player who has strong attention to detail and organisation skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. You will be passionate about getting to know our people and organisation, and ready to build relationships at all levels. 

You will have the opportunity to develop your HR skills and knowledge, through good exposure to employee relations issues and HR Generalist practices. 

About You

To be successful in this role you will need the following qualities, abilities, and experience:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues 

Sound IT skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, etc) 

Basic HR knowledge  

Handling multi-task assignments ensuring quality and accuracy and confidentiality is maintained 

Ability to deal with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner 

Proactive approach, – demonstrating flexibility, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks

Experience as an HR coordinator or relevant HR administrative position 

Strong recruitment/HR administration experience with sound knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes 

CIPD Level 3 qualified, or currently working towards this/ professional equivalent (helpful, but not essential)

Data collation and interpretation for report production
