Y Rôl

Fel Pennaeth Rheolaeth Datblygu a Chydymffurfiaeth, byddwch yn sicrhau ein bod yn darparu gwasanaeth cynllunio cadarn.

Bydd yr adran yr ydych yn ei goruchwylio yn delio â thua (Apply online only) o geisiadau cynllunio bob blwyddyn, yn ogystal ag ymholiadau a cheisiadau llai cysylltiedig. Byddwch yn ymdrin â materion rheoleiddio gan gynnwys Caniatâd Adeilad Rhestredig, Gwerthusiadau a Chaniatadau Ardal Gadwraeth a llawer o faterion eraill sy'n ofynnol gan bolisi a deddfwriaeth cynllunio.

Gan reoli a chefnogi'r tîm cyfan i gyflawni eu targedau, byddwch yn olrhain achosion gorfodi cynllunio parhaus, gan roi materion tirwedd, natur a threftadaeth ddiwylliannol wrth wraidd unrhyw fater.

Gan fod hwn yn wasanaeth rheng flaen sydd mewn cysylltiad rheolaidd ag aelodau'r cyhoedd ac Aelodau'r Awdurdod, byddwch yn goruchwylio datblygiad gwasanaeth cwbl ddwyieithog.

I gael eich ystyried yn Bennaeth Rheolaeth Datblygu a Chydymffurfiaeth, bydd angen:

– Y gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg a Saesneg
– O leiaf tair blynedd o brofiad ar lefel uwch wrth ymdrin â materion rheoli datblygu neu gydymffurfio
– Aelodaeth gorfforaethol lawn o RTPI
– Gwybodaeth dda o Microsoft Office
– Parodrwydd i weithio gyda'r nos ac ar benwythnosau yn achlysurol
– Trwydded yrru ddilys a defnydd o gar

Byddai profiad lefel uwch o faterion Rheoli Datblygu a Chydymffurfiaeth yn fanteisiol, yn ogystal â phrofiad o gynllunio mewn Parciau Cenedlaethol.

Byddai profiad o weithio mewn cyd-destunau gwledig a Pharc Cenedlaethol hefyd yn fuddiol.

About Us

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Snowdonia National Park. Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales and England and the largest natural lake in Wales.

We are now looking for a Head of Development Management & Compliance to join our dedicated team.

The Role

As the Head of Development Management & Compliance, you will ensure we deliver a robust planning service.

The department you oversee will deal with approximately (Apply online only) planning applications each year, as well as associated smaller enquiries and applications. You will deal with regulatory issues including Listed Building Consent, Conservation Area Appraisals and Consents and many other issues required by planning policy and legislation.

Managing and supporting the entire team to achieve their targets, you will track ongoing planning enforcement cases, placing landscape, nature and cultural heritage issues at the heart of any matter.

As this is a frontline service in regular contact with members of the public and Members of the Authority, you will oversee the development of a fully bilingual service.

About You

To be considered as the Head of Development Management & Compliance, you will need:

– The ability to communicate in Welsh and English
– At least three years’ experience at a senior level in dealing with development management or compliance issues
– Full corporate membership of RTPI
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
– Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
– A valid driving licence and use of a car

Senior level experience of Development Management and Compliance issues would be advantageous, as would experience of planning in National Parks.

Experience of working in rural and National Park contexts would also be beneficial.

Other organisations may call this role Head of Development, Head of Planning and Development, or Senior Development Officer.
