General Production Assistants Required in Deeside – Immediate start available – PERMANENT CONTRACT

Position: General Production Assistant

Duties: To assist production in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards.

Shift and pay rate:  Monday to Friday 8.30am to 16.30 pm Salary £18,000

Specific Tasks / Accountabilities: 

To assist production in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
Labelling finished reels and boxes with attention to correct details.
Lifting packed boxes onto pallets
Bagging top and bottom bunging products
Providing cover for core cutting
Making boxes
Reworking and packing finished product
Assisting warehouse, quality and production as required in daily tasks
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills/ training / qualifications: 

Training provided for the right candidate.
Good communication skills.
Basic PC knowledge ideal.
Able to work under own initiative.
Professional experience: 

Experience of stock management and control – desirable
Experience of working with internal and external customers and suppliers and hitting deadlines on a regular basiss
Q.S.E. Knowledge/training: Experience of quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a manufacturing environment

Language skills: Fluent English – ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and understand both written and verbal work instructions

Position: Full Time – Permanent Contract. 

Warehouse background is essential and full training will be provided. All candidates with a solid work history in the past 18 months are encouraged to apply.
