External Quality Assurer (Construction Qualifications) – mixture of remote working and visiting centres.

City & Guilds has recently joined with EAL to become the sole provider of funded qualifications in Construction and Building Services Engineering in Wales.
The Role – External Quality Assurer (Construction Qualifications)
As External Quality Assurer, you will support and monitor the delivery of new construction qualifications in allocated centres across Wales. You’ll provide centres (e.g., schools and colleges) with guidance, support, and current industry expertise.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
* Ensuring centres have up to date resources and documents relating to the qualifications they are offering
* Sampling learners’ assessments
* Maintaining relationships with allocated centres to help them improve delivery of assessments
Our Requirements – External Quality Assurer (Construction Qualifications)
* Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer qualifications (D32, D33, D34 or A1, V1 or TAQA units)
* Related experience gained in the Construction industry
* Ability to speak, read and understand written Welsh
* Live in Wales or have good transport connections to Wales
If you have not achieved the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) or its equivalent, you will be required to work towards this qualification with the support of City & Guilds.
The Package
* Pay rate approximately £210 per day
* Associate contract
* Where travel to centres is required City & Guilds cover travel expenses (including overnight hotel stays)
* Full support alongside training / development opportunities
