External Assessor (Social Services Practitioner) – mixture of remote working and visiting centres.

City & Guilds has joined with WJEC, to become the sole provider of funded Social Services Practitioner qualifications in Wales.
The Role – External Assessor (Social Services Practitioner)
As External Assessor, you will be required to assess and document learner competence against qualification standards, using the stated assessment methods. This will include assessing and documenting learner competency at centres or remotely.
Our Requirements – External Assessor (Social Services Practitioner)
* Assessor qualification (D32, D33, A1, or TAQA units)
* Social Work qualification, with experience gained working in a regulated environment
* Experience gained working with the Social Services Practitioner qualifications (desirable)
* Hold a registration for adults and CYP for Social Care Wales (essential)
* Live in Wales or have good transport connections to Wales
Although not essential, the ability to speak, read and understand written Welsh would be advantageous.
The Package
* Pay rate approximately £35 per hour
* Associate contract
* Where travel to centres is required City & Guilds cover travel expenses (including overnight hotel stays)
* Full support alongside training / development opportunities
