Employment Practitioner Manager Full Time Temporary

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client in Conwy county.

This role is temporary and will be advertised during Q1 2021 as a fixed term contract untkil 2022, for which you can apply. The salary of this FTC role would be between around £29-31k per annum.

– The Employment Practitioner Manager has accountability for the management and
development of a team of Employment Mentors
– They will also manage a small caseload of participants into employment using a person centred approach to mentoring and coaching, and tackling barriers to employment, arising from poverty and long term inactivity. In addition, the
postholder will also take the lead on a number of functions within the employability team including the operational running of the service.

The Employment Practitioner Manager is required to:
 Manage and lead the delivery of operational responsibilities
 Manage and lead team members performance and personnel issues in line with
policy and procedures
 Ensure compliance with service delivery standards and performance targets
 Take responsibility for the oversight and governance of case management and
casework decisions
 Work alongside the Finance and Monitoring Officer to quality assure caseloads
through undertaking audit and monitoring tasks
 Provide workforce and performance information / data
 Manage a small caseload of people who are unemployed or economically
inactive.

The successful candidate will be degree educated in Community Development, Education, Social Sciences or similar. Experience in providing employment focused mentoring is essential as is a minimum tenure of 3 years managing and mentoring teams.
