Electrician

LRL are currently recruiting for an Electrical Improver to help install AGL (Airfield Ground Lighting) in Holyhead. Our client are experts in undertaking AGL design verification, installation and maintenance across the UK, predominantly in defence establishments and airports.

Job Purpose

AGL and Electrical duties across various projects throughout the UK.
You will initially be working at RAF Valley (Holyhead) and this particular project is expected to run for around 12-18 months

Key Responsibilities

Completion of electrical works in accordance with current legislation and agreed scope of works.
Installation of LV wiring systems
Installation of AGL systems
Cable Pulling
Maintain a good knowledge of Health, Safety and Quality Management

Ideal Qualifications

ECS / JIB Card

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, however full training will also be provided.

Working in an Installation Electrical Improvers role for at least 3 years
Experience of installing LV wiring systems
Experience of installing containment
Happy to pull cables
Ability to plan and coordinate effectively
Work outside in challenging conditions
Clean DBS
Clean Driving Licence

Working Schedule

Predominantly nights (Sunday – Friday / 10pm – 6am)
