Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for an Electrical Design & Development Engineer, to join committed and multi-disciplined team of engineers based in their manufacturing and test facility on the outskirts of Wrexham.

SUMMMARY

The Electrical Design & Development Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing and technical support for the electrical and control systems for specialist equipment.

KEY DUTIES

Analyse issues to achieve robust root cause
Lead prototyping, in-house testing, field testing, compliance testing
Responsible for control panel electrical circuit design and safety, to comply with IEC / UL.
Maintain PLC, HMI and selection of components to satisfy specification (PLC, Sensors, Circuit breakers, Relays, indicators etc. for control panel design).
Creation and maintenance of Pneumatic circuit diagrams, and Electrical schematics diagrams.
SKILLS & EXPIRENCE

Proficient with Electrical CAD Autocad or equivalent experience
Electrical control panel design experience
PLC, HMI, Drives, Sensors, specification experience
Automation and/or robotic systems, design knowledge
SALARY & BENEFITS

£30,000 to £40,000
