Customer Service Team Leader

Full Time Permanent

Acorn Recruitment are searching for a Customer Service Team Leader to join our client, a large manufacturing business in North Wales.

– 40 hours per week
– Hybrid working option after initial period
– Salary is negotiable, depending on skills and experience

Reporting to the Supply Chain & Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the customer service team each day. Setting high standards of customer service and customer supply is a key a priority to this role.

As Team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities of team members, resolving customer complaints and ensuring productivity and performance are at its highest level.

Duties will include:

* Supporting the Customer Service team through continuous improvement initiatives and training
* Generate a positive and engaging working environment
* Ensuring all customer service daily tasks are completed, supporting where required
* Responsible for managing some key customer accounts
* Ensuring reporting on the performance of KPIs on a weekly basis are completed
* Supporting Customer Service & Supply Chain Manager when required
* Ensure the team are performing against all agreed targets, budgets and costs
* Responsible for driving and meeting cost mitigation target
* Involvement in continuous improvement projects to achieve business goals
* Customer and Supply Chain forecasting to be managed effectively within the team
* Developing and implementing improvement opportunities on team MDI
* Responsible for providing cover for other members of team as and when required

The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating a full understanding of a customer-focused environment. Excellent computer skills are required, including experience of SAP and Excel for reporting and data analysis.

Key to the role is senior responsibility and strength of character to stand and push for change. You must be a team-player with positive enthusiasm, drive and energy, able to build and manage a team, and capable to generate positivity and engagement with direct reports, colleagues and stakeholders.
