Customer Service Clerk

In the General Assistant/Customer Service Clerk job, you will be:

Providing administration support within the Stores department, by undertaking all necessary clerical duties and inputting of data into the relevant recording systems 
Dealing with telephone calls and face to face enquiries, liaising with internal customers and suppliers, and completing all follow-up actions
Processing Stores requisitions, returns and loans, receiving incoming deliveries and completing stock check verifications

Packaging and labelling orders, cross checking paperwork, and re-stocking the shelves with accurate data

Providing advice, guidance and consolidation training for users on the Stores ordering system (Training provided)

Assisting in PPE helmet repairs (Training provided)

Utilising step ladders, lifting and moving items of bulk and weight in accordance with Health and Safety and manual handling regulations

Undertaking additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the Service

To be considered for the General Assistant/Customer Service Clerk role, you will have:

Previous administration or office experience

NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in Administration/Customer Service or other equivalent qualifications

Proven customer service, communication and IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills with high level of accuracy and close attention to detail

Prioritisation skills; working to deadlines and responding positively under pressure

An ability to work as part of a team or independently using own initiative

Welsh Speaking and Listening skills – Level 2 or prepared to achieve this level within your probation period with the Service

Ability to undertake manual handling activities, physical activities, lifting, carrying and going up step ladders

Ability to drive with a valid full UK driving licence 
This is a permanent vacancy, working 37 hours per week (flexi-time working pattern available), Monday to Friday. The role will be based in Llandudno Junction and in return you’ll receive a salary of £20,444 to £21,269 per annum PLUS employee benefits and training opportunities.
