A local authority department is seeking an experienced administrator to join its team from the comfort of your own home. This role will offer you a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experiences within the Social Care sector.
In the Business Support Assistant job you will be:
Providing administrative business support to the department including a range of clerical tasks such as data handling/entry, updating records, filing, photocopying
Assisting management with monitoring and validating report information and with the induction and ongoing training, including training in preparation for the upgrades of a new system and functionality
Dealing with clients over the telephone & sign posting to relevant area
To be considered for the Business Support Assistant job you must have:
Formal IT and/or administrative qualification or relevant recent experience
Demonstrable IT experience including data input and retrieval
Ability to prioritise work and interact appropriately across a social spectrum
Experience in office procedures and systems
Please note, the department support sensitive, complex and distressing subjects for which a high level of emotional resilience is required in the role.
This is a full-time vacancy working 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday on an hourly rate of £8.91 per hour plus any accrued holiday time whilst on the assignment. This is a temporary role with an ASAP start for approximately 6 months which will be predominately home based, with occasional office visits due to the current circumstances.
