Social Housing Organisation in North Wales currently looking to recruit a Building Surveyor to their growing team.
My client are a Local Authority providing Social Housing Services around the North Wales region. They are currently looking to add two Building Surveyors to their growing team. The organisation has an extremely well-experienced team currently, however the scale of the work that they are currently required to undertake has grown considerably in the last few months.
For this reason they need two experienced Building Surveyors to assist them with their disabled adaptations team, on an initial contract of 3 months but with the definite opportunity of a permanent role thereafter.
The role will consist of working on disabled adaptations and experience in this field will be preferred. Someone with training in Housing health and safety regulations and an AutoCAD proficiency would be ideal.
The ideal candidate will also be able to communicate effectively with tenants and Local Councillors, informing them of any planned works that will be occurring and resolving any issues that either may have with the projects. The role involves dealing with vulnerable people so experience working in similar surroundings with an understanding of complex needs will be required.
The pay will be around the £20 – £24 Per Hour mark but is negotiable based upon experience.
