Assistant Service Manager, Pwllheli

We currently have an exciting opportunity for Assistant Service Managers to join a wonderful service in Pwllheli.

Our clients provide support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism and physical disabilities. They do that in a number of ways from providing 24-hour support within their own homes, to providing shorter, more focused support to assist with individual tasks or care needs, which are often determined in conjunction with Social Services. The people they support, and their families are at the centre of what they do so they are looking for individuals who have the right skills, experience and ability to provide a high quality of support and care to really make a difference

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the staff team and the service. This includes planning rotas, dealing with expense claims, management of staff and deputising in the Manager's absence. This is a good opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their career. Previous management experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay is £9.47 per hour, rising to £9.96 (20 days annual leave)

35 Hours a week

What we expect from you:

A commitment to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.
You will be a welsh speaker, this is essential for the role.
A full valid driving license and a car, which you are able to use for work purposes as driving is essential.
Have a commitment to work towards a QCF in Health and Social Care.
Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
Good communication and networking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
A flexible approach to work and the willingness and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and also sleeping overnight at the service user's home.
Computer literate and have a thorough knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.What they can offer you:
