Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Walters are proud to represent a successful business based in Prestatyn as they seek to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.

Please note this role is office based and requires own transport due to location.

The main responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:

Prepare and post monthly journals including payroll and deferred income.

Maintain the fixed asset registers including the posting of depreciation journals and reconciliation to the trial balance.

Prepare monthly Park Prepayments schedules and process monthly journals.

Review nominal postings prior to month end to ensure that transactions are correctly coded and process recode journals.

Prepare the monthly recharge schedules between the Group companies.

Reconcile the monthly stock reports to NAV.

Ensure that all intercompany balances are fully reconciled.

Review monthly management accounts against budget and post any necessary accruals and journal adjustments.

Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience and skills required:

Previous experience in a Finance role within management accounts is essential

Part qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)

Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables & lookups)

Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic are essential
