About the Role

A 3-month temp to perm opportunity for an Administration Assistant has arisen with the local authority, Flintshire County Council.

Job Purpose

This is a large generic team their role as a whole is to provide administrative and clerical support to the gas service, capital works service and electrical services as well as providing general administrative support to housing asset management team and all other section of Housing Services based in County Offices Flint.

This role also processes right to buy applications and works closely with the insurance provider to process tenant's insurance applications.

Main Responsibilities

Provide admin support to the benefits service.
Including monitoring dedicated team inbox, maintain and update document spreadsheets using word, excel and system generated letters.
Collating financial and performance related information.
Respond to customer queries over the telephone and via email.Skills and Experience

Knowledge and experience working in Housing
Experience working with the local authorities
Previous work within Admin/Admin Assistant
Basic knowledge of the Annual Heating Service and Electrical Testing of all Council owned properties in compliance with Gas Safe Regulations and 17th Edition Electrical Regulations.This position is full time Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, working 37 hours per week.
